About Wild Reflections
Wild Reflections was created from a simple but important understanding:
Sometimes people don’t just need support — they need support that feels calm, safe and genuinely human.
Hi, I’m Jamie — the person behind Wild Reflections.
I created this space for people who may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected or unsure how to move forward in life.
Through both personal and professional life experience, I’ve come to understand how powerful calm connection, feeling understood and simply having someone to walk alongside you can be.
I also know that support and healing don’t always happen in clinical environments or through rigid systems.
Sometimes they happen in quieter moments:
a walk outdoors,
a supportive conversation,
someone meeting you where you are,
or slowly rebuilding confidence one step at a time.
Why I Created Wild Reflections
Over time, I noticed how many people feel disconnected from traditional forms of support.
Even when support exists, it doesn’t always feel:
personal
safe
comfortable
grounded in real life
What’s often missing is calm, consistency and genuine human connection.
Wild Reflections was created to offer a gentler and more grounded approach — one that values emotional safety, lived experience, reflection and moving at your own pace.
My Background
My approach is shaped through a combination of professional experience, lived experience and a deep interest in wellbeing, recovery and human connection.
My background includes:
Registered Nursing
a background in fitness, movement and wellbeing
over 20 years in people-focused roles
experience supporting people through difficult life seasons
personal experience navigating adversity, rebuilding and resilience
These experiences have shaped the way I support people — with empathy, calmness, flexibility and understanding.
My Approach
Support is relaxed, person-centred and guided by you.
There are no rigid programs, expectations or pressure to “have everything figured out.”
Sessions are designed to feel calm, supportive and grounded — allowing space for reflection, conversation, connection and gradual growth.
I focus on helping people:
reconnect with themselves
build confidence gradually
feel less overwhelmed and isolated
reconnect with everyday life and community
feel more emotionally supported and grounded
Growth is never rushed.
The focus is on creating support that feels realistic, sustainable and human.
Why Nature?
Nature plays an important role in how support is experienced.
For many people, outdoor environments feel calmer, quieter and less overwhelming than traditional settings.
Time in nature can help create space to:
slow down
breathe and reflect
reduce overwhelm
feel more grounded
reconnect with yourself and the world around you
Support may take place through gentle walks, quiet outdoor spaces or calm community settings throughout Parramatta and surrounding Western Sydney areas.
Values
Calm & Safety
Support should feel steady, grounded and free from pressure.
Genuine Human Connection
Meaningful support begins with trust, understanding and feeling heard.
Individuality
Every person’s experience is different. Support is always tailored to your comfort level, needs and pace.
Growth at Your Own Pace
There is no pressure to “have it all together.” Progress happens gradually and naturally.
Real-Life Support
Support is grounded in everyday life, real experiences and meaningful human connection.
